Remove Lines from mirror operation

Hello,

how can I remove the lines that appear, get left behind when I use the mirror operation. The bodies are united (+).

But the line on top makes it impossible to run a extrusion (z) operation 😞

thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the top faces of your model?

Those faces are not planar, which is why they are not merged.  They are created from fit point splines:

You mention extruding them.  Extrude also works only on planes, so you will not be able to extrude them if they are a spline surface.  If you want a plane, you should use a line in this sketch.

Thanks a lot. I thought the form is okay with the vertex centered.

Very helpful! I extruded to an object that turned out to be at a slight angle and it threw everything off. I redid the extrusion using distance instead and the problem is solved.

Thanks!
