Reference Failures - Point 1 missing

Hello everybody,

I'm new to Fusion 360 but currently learning and loving it. However, when I followed a tutorial "Using Sweep to create a close profile along a path" I suddenly ran into a situation when Fusion gave me a warning on one of the sketches. I don't exactly remember what did I do to get that warning, but I'm eager to know how can I resolve such warning shall it happen later in designs without redoing a sketch.

The warning is: "The project source is lost, Cache is used!" following by sub message "Point 1 missing". I'm attaching the snapshot of my project. It's pretty simple, and the error is on the Sketch 2, which only has a single "Spline". As far as I see, the Point 1 exists. I specifically saved this project, in case its a bug, and can share with someone who want's to look at the live version (I think I can do that in A360).

Easier for us to have you

File > Export the file to your hard drive, and attach to another post in the box below for attachments.  A360 adds more steps to the same result.

Most likely the spline has lost it's attachment point from sketch 1. (Moved or deleted)

If you find a yellow point in sketch 2, that is the cached point and needs to be recovered or replaced

Edit sketch 2, project the point you connect the Spline to.

Hide sketch 1, and connect the spline to the new point.

Might help...

Was the point from the centre of ellipse,

there were a lot of points on top of each other, one yellow one was causing the trouble.

From new start, Workflow is,

make a sketch point in sketch 1, on the ellipse centre line.

start sketch 2, and Project that point to Sketch2, Hide Sketch 1, purple point should be visible, connect Spline to that point, trouble gone.

To fix it, Workflow is, Edit Sketch 2, click on the spline end point and hold mouse button, select a Sketch Point, if your spline turns bright blue do not delete this one,

select another one I think I deleted 3 or 4), delete it,

Same for all sketch points in that Select Other list, until only spline is left with one point in that list.

Move spline end point a bit, project point from Sketch 1, and make spline end point coincident with purple point.

Might help...
