red thumbnails

Hello,

Today first time happend to me, that the thumbnails in data panel turned red, I mean red background.

I am not able to find manual what to do and what does it mean.

Can someone explain ? and how to solve that ?

What you are seeing is not a warning sign, it is actually a graphic bug that our visualization team has created a fix for.

After it has been tested it should appear in the next update.

I am also having this issue. I have updated to the latest version which if I read the update notes correctly, included a fix for this. Despite that, I am still getting the red thumbnails. Any update?

Hi, 

We did make a fix in last update but it seems that this issue is still observed by some users. Unfortunately internally inside Fusion team we couldn't reproduce it so we are not really sure what causes this problem. This might be related to the system locale setting where the users use a non-English locale however we still couldn't reproduce this problem even we use a non-English locale setting in our testing and development machines. If there is any information you can provide to help reproduce/diagnose this problem, that is appreciated.

If i often tell, the red thumbnail only appears to me in "Gray Room" environment. And often i saw, the whole environment dome is red too if you zoom out.

If it is any indiaction, I still have this as well after the latest update and I have no non-english locale set anywhere.

I am on a 5 year old i7 27" iMac

I changed the environment a few times based on @macmanpb comment but that did not change anything.

INterestingly enough, I just saved a few models that I made minor revisions to and which were previously red. Now they're white.

The thumbnail will NOT be re-generated unless you change the model. I am not sure if those red thumbnails are the old ones before the update. But please let us know if you see this issue with the new models.

Yes, that is what I was trying to say. Once I had modified older models and saved them they turned white. So maybe in my case this is fixed and I just need to re-save my models.

This problem of red backgrounds on the thumbnails has not been fixed.  New files will still show a red background on the thumbnail. I was hoping this would be fixed. I haven't seen a green background in a while so maybe that's been fixed.

Hi All,

This issue will be fixed in next update. Please note that the fix will only apply to the new dashboard thumbnail images. The old legacy red dashboard/thumbnail images will not be corrected until you change the model and save it again.
