Rectanguler pattern does not pattern correctly with 3 features

Found another bug... See screen cast. If you would like to have the file also let me know.

I pattern three features, 2 extrudes and an extruded cut, somehow the extruded cut does not get patterned correctly leaving me with a strange extra box in between. See:

https://screencast.autodesk.com/main/details/10277ffd-836b-402b-8c6f-79f33fa80357

Another time I did it my whole model just disappeard:

https://screencast.autodesk.com/Main/Details/a993489f-34df-4a32-b7d0-cfbfc8cfbfc0

For some reason, the screen cast does not show the menu's. It did so before...

So this is sort of a triple issue report. Smiley Wink

I also discovered I could not patter mirrors which is really really really annoying and messing with my workflow. Smiley Frustrated

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvinience to your modeling.

Seems a known issue, but still need to confirm it.

Could you share your model to us? so we can look into this issue.

You can use “Export” function to save the file into your local folder, then attached it here or send email to me: jiangang.zhang@autodesk.com

Thanks,

Regards,

Inspired by Innovate Nate's suggestion about using bodies (see: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/sketching-sculpting-modeling-and/mirror-a-mirrored-feature/td-p/530218... I did not combine the first rib and then patterned it just fine.

Just have to merge afterwards...

I will get you the file shorty, time is not on my side!

Hey Mike, sorry for the wait.

I had to do a bit of searching to find the older version to export. I found it but after clicking the export button nothing appears to happen. See attached screenshot. Should I expect a download pop up after pressing the button?

export.png

Also attached the latest version of the file, which I did manage to export properly but from the regular Fusion 360 menu.

I get a warning when attached a .f3d file to the forum: The contents of the attachment doesn't match its file type.

Wow, sorry for the late response, if you can't attached it, could you Zip it, or just send it to me by email?

I've tried to create a similar model showed in your video, can't reproduce your problem.

You can check with the attached model.

Mmhh sorry, late reply from my end. I had totally forgotten about this one.

Please find attached, zipped the file I mentioned. Its from 2 months ago and I have not tried yet to reproduce the problem with more recent software builds.

I can reproduce it on your model.

I've logged a defect to track it.
