rectangular and circular patterns

I have create patterns in the "Create and Sketch" tabs. Do they do the exact same thing?  IF not how would I apply each tab?

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes they do, but in 2D!

What exactly are you trying to do? It is recommended to use the Pattern in the model environment and not in the Sketch environment!

No, of course they don't do the same thing.

The sketch pattern tool can only pattern sketch objects, lines, circles etc.

The Create pattern tool can pattern faces, bodies, features and components, but no sketch objects.

I am attempting to make a rectangular pattern using Create Hole and Threading function.
