Hi All,

I just accidentally closed a document without saving it (it asked, and I said no for some reason) and ive lost a few hours work. Is there any way this can be recovered? is there a cache somewhere?

Thanks.

Start over and Save Often.

You should never ever lose "a few hours" of work.

Everyone learns this lesson the hard way (hopefully the first time in happens).

Did I mention, Save Often?

I don't think you can recover your changes after hitting 'Don't Save'. Still, have a look at this AKN article and the pages linked to it.

This has happened with me... I have kept Auto Save Option On. And Recovery Files get auto generated at some duration..

When I work on some Doubts of AKN Members, I usually Do not save them. And while closing the Model, I click on Don't Save.

Still a Recovery File is generated. And if ever I want to go to the File, I can open the Recovery File...

How to find Recovery Files, and if the option is Turned Off, How to Turn it On, have been mentioned in the Link shared by @TheCADWhisperer ..

Thanks and Regards,

Rushabh Thakkar.
