Random Lines in faces

I keep getting these lines turn up in my models that were not there before. Its happened to a few of my models now and I cannot get rid of them.

What is causing it? am I doing something wrong? or is there a bug?

Change the view window settings to Shaded, currently it’s Shaded with edges.

Might help...

Not really the point the lines shouldn't be there in the first place there should be no edge there it should be a single face and it was when I first modeled it.

Thanks for your reply though

That's not a "random" line and it was there when you modeled it.

That line is the result of the loft you did.

That loft creates a NURBS surface and the line simply indicates the beginning/end of this NURBS surface. It's not a problem and normal.

Right must not have noticed it i'm guessing that the line in the ring is caused by the fact that it has been extruded from a projection?

Or the edge from the fillet.  You can turn them off.
