I'm trying to draw a bend that is 90 degrees, but also twists evenly throughout the design. I'm drawing this in the modeling tools.

Attached is a photo of the closest thing I could find online, except halfway down the twist, I want it to be bent 90 degrees. Is this possible to draw easily in Fusion?

Fusion does not have general "Bend" or "Twist" feature, which could be used to twist a shape after it is created as a "non-twisted" shape.  So, you have to build it in the "already bent" shape.

For the simple example in your post, you can create this shape with Loft.  It sometimes requires changing the point mapping to get the exact correct shape:

Yes, and that behavior could be improved a lot, by simply allowing the user to pick a point on each profile, instead of requiring to move all these handles.

Is something like this what you are after?

Yes, that is exactly it! A little more gradual throughout though, but overall, that's the correct idea. Was this done via loft? I'm able to get the overall shape I want with loft, and a few sketches moved throughout the curve, but I get an uneven and slightly bumpy shape.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Oops, I missed a tangent condition on one end of the file that I attached.

Yikes!  In the middle of all of this apparently Fusion installed an update that broke my model.

Unfortunately I cannot due to NDA agreements and such. That's why I resorted to trying to describe it the best as possible. What you've drawn is very close to what I am looking for. I guess I'm looking for more gradual of a curve where it still bends 90 degrees like you had drawn, but from one end to the other, the twist is very gradual until the very end is completely squared and upright.

HI I don't know how to make it 90 degrees but I was wondering how you made that twist?

@jeff_strater as you can see this still is a very unsatisfactory and error prone process. Still!

In my first attempt I first pull the handles to the correct vertices, then I  change the start/end condition of profile one from connected to G1 and the loft fails. Then I do that with the second profile and the process I went through is negated and I am back to square one. But the tool also does not provide the handles anymore, so I have to start from scratch.

In this 2nd attempt using surfaces I cannot select the upper edge of the bottom surface to loft toward. Instead it selects the hidden sketch line (thus I don't get the G1 control). This does not occur every time, only when I follow that exact timeline sequence in the screencast.

@Anonymous I find this t be the safest way to create such a twist.
