"convert entities" in Fusion 360

Is there a way to make a sketch on the edge of a flat surface? In solidworks theres a command called "convert entities" thats does what I'm trying to do. I can make a sketch on the plane or make a small offset from the edges but for some reason I can't use it in a loft. any advice?

I'm no Solidworks expert, but it looks like Convert Entities is a lot like Sketch > Project/Include. Have you tried that?

If you could create a video using Autodesk Screencast and post it here that would help to see your problem.

Thanks!

I'm just tring to loft the rounded rectangle to the inner part of the flat surface. Projecting seems to work if I want to use the outside edge, but not to ofset.

There is a problem with the offset edges that came from the Sculpt body. I'm investigating. They do not have endpoints and thus cannot connect together to make a good target for Loft.

However, there is a fairly simple workaround. In this video I use the Patch environment to create the offset, do a Patch loft to this offset, then finish by capping, stitching, and using Combine to subtract the resulting body. There was a face shard left over so I used Select Other and Delete to remove it. (watch closely, I pick the inner side of the shard).
