"Boost" Error while saving "cannot find file"

I'm getting the following error when I save, and I'm concerned it's not saving it.  Just started.  Afraid to close it down that I might lose everything.  In the Activity panel it says "Save in progress", which message won't go away.  See image.saveinprogress.jpg

Hello,

It is difficult to find out what's the problem with limited information. It would be great if you can provide log files to us for analysis. Please go to righ-top corner and find "Help"->"Diagnositics Log Files" and post the result in the thread or send it to me by email: marshal.tu@autodesk.com.

Thanks,

Marshal

Any update?  I don't know whether I can continue ... would be foolish to do that if the changes I make aren't getting saved.

The "Save in progress..." message in the Activity panel after some time does eventually go away and the red x in the bottom right corner disappears.  However I don't know if it just times out or is actually resolved.  Note this is a new problem... I used 360 for about 2 weeks without this.

Hi @dave,

We have looked at your log files and currently your file is not saving.  We have identified the cause and will fix it in a subsequent release, however we have a workaround for you right now.

  1. Go to the Export command shown below:

Once in the Export... command, set the save as type to "Archive Files (*.f3d)

archive.PNG

and save the file to your local drive.

2.  Close the design.

3.  Right click on the design in the data panel and select the "Import New Version" command and select the file you saved in step #1

After the file is uploaded you can then open the file.  Unfortunately with this issue, until we fix it, this may happen again to you, but if it does following the above steps will ensure you do not lose your data.

We will be fixing the issue as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Kris Berg
