Questions about reverse engineering references

    Hello!

             What references does one use to identify unknown components of a given design/3d model? in particular, electrical or mechanical components. If I know the basic function, surely theres a few good places to better identify it and obtain specifications on a part like the one attached.......thanks for your input fellas!

If you have actual part - then just type all of the markings into Google search.

I just fixed a heater by searching for the thermal fuse markings.

It helps if you know a bit about the field, but everyone has to start somewhere.
