I've applied Nylon 6-6 (White) to my model. Why am I getting all those lines on my model? Please look at the attached file.

Best regards.

Can you post a couple more screenshots here so we can examine your model? Attach the pics directly (don't put in a Word doc). Also, what are your system specs and graphics card specs? And do you have any visual effects on?

I have an Intel(R) HD Graphics card in a Dell Studio 1749 laptop. No visual effects on. I've posted a picure of my model that shows lines on the surface.

Best regards.

I've posted another picture ans it seems that those lines are coming from a reflection of a light source. How can i get rid of that?

Best regards.

So I dug into this and found the your crash error report you submitted today. The issue you are seeing is most likely caused by your graphics driver being out-of-date. You should update it here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+...

Or get the utility here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect and have it auto-detect what update you need.

Let me know if this solves your issue.

Can you go to the Help (?) menu and run the Graphics diagnostics command?

graphics diagnostics.png

In the following dialog, there is a command to "Copy to Clipboard."

Can you paste the contents into a reply here for further analysis?

Thanks,

The button should place some contents on your clipboard. There's no graphical indication that anything happened. However, whenever you use the paste command (CTRL + V), the contents should paste into wherever you are typing (like in a reply to this forum).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

A couple of interesting things I note from the graphics diagnostic results. The first thing that stands out is that the date is from March of 2010. A general rule I usually offer is to update the graphics driver every six months or so. It seems that the currently installed version was release over 5 years ago. You may want to look for a video driver directly from the Intel website to see if there is a newer version available to test. See Keqing's earlier links for the Intel website.

Another thing that stands out is that the Intel Card is an integrated (with the motherboard) with 128 MB of dedicated video memory. The system requirements recommend 512 MB of dedictated video memory. Does this system have dual graphics cards? Perhaps the discrete graphics card is not being utilitzed?

Feel free to send me a copy of the system information file:

1. Launch %windir%\system32\msinfo32.exe
2. Select Save from the File drop down menu (CTRL + S)
3. Please reply with the resulting *.NFO file attached or e-mail it to me directly at nathan.chandler@autodesk.com.

Please note if there are dual graphics cards, there are some specific suggestions that may help in the below link.

Let me know if you have any questions. I hope this information is helpful.

Thanks,

The graphics card driver was custom built for Dell for the Studio 1749 laptop. No update available. as for the memory size there no parameters for the laptop to increase the memory allowed to the graphics card. So I have to live with the constraints.

Best regards.

The public link is http://a360.co/1gdaN6y

As for the Intel driver update utility I've attached a picture showing the results.

As for the generic driver I've tried to install one and got the message that my laptop was not meeting minimum requirements.

Best regard.
