I bought plans for a project. They were made in Fusion. The seller didn't follow best practices in my opinion. There is only one component for the entire assembly. Everything else is just bodies. No sketches included and no design history. I would like to project a sketch off the face of one part that has the threads modeled in the body. I know the diameter of the thread so therefore the diameter of the hole that needs to be drilled before tapping. The problem is the threaded holes don't have a center point for me to locate the circle I would like to have on the sketch in the size of the drilled hole. Clear as mud. The projected holes from the model have lots of nodes around the circumference as if it is made up of a bunch of individual arcs. The drawings included with the plans are only in .pdf and are not well done. Why he didn't put the drilled hole size with call outs for the thread I don't know. Any ideas?
