Projected sketch shapes issue

Hi everyone,

can someone explain to me why I can't edit a projected sketch shape (produced using the "Project to Surface" command). I have cylendrical 3D shape which has a none-uniform shape, I used multiple const planes along the length and projected the section intersecting with the planes. when I try to offset the lines of these sketchs I'm able to only deal with on segmentof the round shape produced by the projection, this is despite the fact that the shape defines profile which I assume means that it is closed. any ideas gentlemen??

Regards,

Hani

I assume the problem you are running into is just the offset problem, correct?  The question about "why I can't edit a projected sketch shape " is very different.  Yes, you cannot edit projected geometry, because its shape, extent, location, etc is driven by what was projected.  But the offset question is a different one.  Yes, there is a bug in the current production version of Fusion where offset does not work correctly with chains of projected geometry.  However, that bug has been fixed, and should be delivered with the next update to Fusion.  Thanks for your patience.
