project turn purple

Hello,

I was working on this project and started renaming one of the sketchs in the timeline and accidentally changed the color of the part to purple.  I don't know how I did it and would like to know how to remove the color and possibly to know what I did.  After the color changed I played around in appearances for a couple minutes and was not able to remove the purple color.  Also when I opened up appearances a warning shows up as well.

Any help or guidence would be great!

Most likely what happened is you accidentally turned on the "component color cycling", by hitting the "n" hotkey while you were not in a command.

You can turn it off again by hitting "n" again, or using this menu item:
