Problems with Rule Fillet

I'm having a problem where sometimes a small rule fillet will work and sometimes it will fail with "Fillet could not be created at the requested size", even when applied to the same geometry.  Often if I try the exact same operation again it will succeed.  In every case, the preview works and looks correct.  It's only when I actually click OK that the error appears.

File is here:  http://a360.co/1G39E9w.  Try deleting and recreating some of the fillets.

Hello,

I worked with your model and there is probably some issue in transitions between splines.

I tried a workaround apply just fillet (not rule fillet). it works well.

I would recommend you to create only one shape extrude it and apply fillets. After that I would make a rectangular pattern and circular pattern (circular pattern for instances in corners)

this work flow decrease the amount of manual operation "create fillet"

I'm going to investigate the problem with rule fillet, maybe there is a way to improve it.

regards

Martin

Hi Martin,

This is a great idea!  It hadn't occurred to me to use two patterns.

I was trying to do this by rotating in the sketches but was having problems selecting all of the edges due to another bug.

I was also having problems with the rule fillets not patterning (probably for same reasons as above), but by using regular fillet, it works!

Thanks so much!
