Problem with overlay of info boxes when drawing a line / Win10 scaling related?

I recently switched to a Surface Book as my work station and it is running 3000x2000 pixels with 200% scaling enabled. When drawing a line, the attribute boxes often cover up the mouse pointer which does not allow me to actually finish the line since the click is not being registered. If I zoom in much more, then sometimes I manage to place it, depending on the line length and the zoom level.

This as well as some of the palette windows which apprear with a scroll bar and cannot be resized to full size, even when the screen realestate is massive now, seems to me that either Windows or Fusion have trouble with such high resolutions. Is there a work around for at least the line problem I mentioned above?

They are aware of this issue on high resolution displays, as far as I know the only way around it is setting your scaling to something less then 200%. Maybe someone else has heard of something else you can do until they get the chance to address the HD display issues.
