Problem with Lofting

I'm trying to model a logo in 3D for 3d printing.  I have the entire logo done except the O at the end which looks like a gear.  I'm offset the base 3mm and am trying to loft from the top of the model to the offset.  All of the other letters worked except the gear.

Wouldn't Extrude with Taper be a lot easier?

If you really really wanted to do as Loft, you would have to do as two Loft features, one for the solid and second to cut the hole.

As @TheCADWhisperer . extrude and taper in this case will do the job.

first loft can be tricky with less simple shapes like your gear

second using extrude and taper removes 50 of your sketches

Fusion uses parametric tools also for sketches so try to keep sketches as simple as possible and

do work with modeling tools instead

don't filet in the sketch do that with the patch solid fillet tool
