Problem with contact sets – Component is intermittently solid

I've been sketching a simple mechanism and I'm experiencing some odd behavior trying to animate it with contact sets. It should be displaying a simple slider behavior, but from its initial position the driver shaft passes directly through what should be a solid surface. However, once it has completed a revolution and approaches the driven shaft again contact is computed correctly and contact works (but with the components now positioned incorrectly). I can't really see anywhere that I could have made a design mistake here, so I'm a bit stumped at this point. Screencast and file attached. Thanks!

Thanks for the report and the model. This is a known issue. (internal reference FUS-4806)

Unfortunately I don't have any ETA on a fix.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
