Problem with changing units

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I noticed an issue with changing the units within a design.

I have my default using as millimeters. I changed the units for on specific design using the Units button under Named Views (see image) to cm for one particular design. When I exported the body as an STL and measured it, it was 1/10th the size- none of the cm units stuck and everything went back to mm (ie- the height which was supposed to be 35cm measured to be 35mm)

Am I missing something? If not, can this be explored for future enhancement.

Thanks!

You must also verify the correct export units when saving an stl.

Oops.  Let me dig a bit deeper.
