Hi JonBoy5Axis,
Thanks for posting the screenshots.
As I have mentioned in my previous reply, You need to select actual components from which you want to create drawing. From your posted screenshots, looks like you are trying to create drawing by selecting assembly in browser and expecting hidden component in browser will not participate in drawing.
Drawing creation is not restricted by visibility of components in browser, that means even a component is in hidden state (turned off), you can create drawing of it without changing it’s visibility state. Here are the screenshots for your reference,
Note: If selected component is in hidden state (turned off) in browser, after launching New Drawing from Design, ghost/transparent preview will be displayed for it.
If you want to create drawing of full assembly excluding one or few components, you must have to select all the components excluding those components which you don’t want to include in drawing. Here are the steps,
1. Launch New Drawing from Design and uncheck assembly check box. You can see "Components: no selection" in dialog box
2. In browser, click on first component, hold SHIFT key and click on last component. All the components are selected now, and you can see number of selected components in dialog box
3. Hold Command Key [Mac] or Ctrl key [Windows] and click on components, which you don’t want to participate in drawing. You should see reduced number of components in dialog box
4. When you click OK button in dialog box, you will see excluded components are not visible in drawing views.
I hope this will resolve the issue and you will be able to create desired drawings.
Thanks,
Amarjeet
