How do I add my printer to Fusion? There are some main stream 3D printers listed when I install the add-ons. So how do I add mine?

Does the lack of any response mean that their is no way to add a 3D printer if it's not already listed?

Hey @Anonymous,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Do you mean Print Utilites (i.e. Cura, Makerware, etc.) ? What add-ons are you referring to?

I believe mesh mixer was the name of one of the the two addons that was listed when I checked the box to send to printer during a save as STL operation.

When that starts up it has options for printers like an ultimaker or makerbot and more.

The descriptions are kind of vague but it looks like they will take the body and output gcode for the listed printers. So I was hoping I could add my printer because the Slic3r program has been crashing with every model I've made in Fusion 360 and exported to STL.

I have an Orca or sometimes referred to as an Orcabot. Later this year (hopefully) I'll be receiving the one I backed on Kickstarter called a Tiko.

Maybe someone could start by clarifying what meshmixer actually does.

Does it send print instructions to an Ultimaker if that's your printer?

Does it make gcode that you send to a printer?
-If it makes gcode, how do I enter my printers settings?
