Print Studio stopped working - cannot connect to Print Manager

As the title says, Print Studio stopped working and complained that it could not connect to the Print Manager. I deleted the files as suggested elsewhere, tried re-installing, rebooting then re-installing, but the problem persists. The issue seems to be the Print Manager service which was eventually uninstalled by MS Fix It, but after a reboot and re-installing Print Studio the issue has not gone away.

It was related with the Windows 10 Creators update in my case.

Is there a fix for this? I'm in the same boat, installed Windows 10 Creators update and now the Print Manager Service won't start. I've tried uninstall, re-install and folder deletions but cannot get it to work,

I am not aware of a fix. Waiting for a new version of Print Studio.

Ah, there seems to be the beginnings of a common thread here, in that the problem occurred after I installed Windows Creators Update as well. Hmm.

That explains a lot.  Both of my laptops have the creator update and this does not work.  On the other hand my desktop does not have it and it does work.  Looks like a creators update.
