Print Studio don't work after update!

I've just updated the Print Studio software, as promted.

After installing the update, I exported a model to PrintStudio and it crashed when I tried to add support.

I then tried to close Print Studio, so it did'nt crash at it's first sartup. When i restarted Print Studio, the whole interface is gone (see picture).

I tried to delete the appsettings in user/appdata/local/autodesk/printstudio and the restart my computer. Still the same bug/issue.

I'm using this software as my primary slicer, som can you provide a link to the old version, which is working.

Kind Regards

Hi harvid22,

I delete the data from C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Print Studio, like you did, and also from C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk

That usually does the trick.

If that doesn’t solve the issue, I open the Windows Task Manager > Services tab > Services button, find Print Manger in the list, right-click Stop it, delete the data in the two folders above and then restart the Print Manager service.

It always worked for me.

The Print Manager service runs all the time to detect USB printers. Updating while the service is running sometimes causes issues like the one you are experiencing.

Let us know if it worked.

I've followed your instructions, stopped Print Studio, deleted the files in the the two different folders and restarted Print Studio -Twice.

Print Studio still crasches.

The settings button is unresponsive, so I can't set any profile.

When Print Studio is trying to calculate the slicing, the program is still crashing, this occours at the same place/time as before.

I would uninstall Print Studio completely, delete the stuff in the two directories, make sure there is no Print Manager service left.

Then I would re-install Print Studio.

Try it.
