Prevent joints to animate simultanously

Hi guys,

I'm working on following assembly: basically, an arm spins around an axis, and on the arm an actuator moves in a translation motion.

Except these two joints, any other joints in the assembly is rigid.

The two joints works correctly, but when I move one by dragging, the other is also animated.

I'd like to prevent this behaviour and to be able to move each join separately.

Despite a lot of googling I can't figure this out, any help would be higly appreciated 🙂

Thanks

Probably the only way to achieve this is to select the Slider Joint, right click on it and select Lock Motion.  When you want to release it, select the Reset Position icon to place your assembly back into the starting position which will unlock the Slider Joint automatically or you could unlock it manually.
