Poof its gone

I am working on a simple part that requires a loft on one side. It was working just fine then I went back and adjusted it. Now everytime I exit one of the 2 sketches I am working with they just disappear. They are there and show up in the history, but cannot be selected for loft. I could extrude them but only if I told it to from inside the sketch. In the sketch themselves both sketches are closed loops and constraints and dimensions control every point. Attached is a screen shot of what I am seeing. Nothing is suppressed and the last two sketches are what is not visible.

I just want to loft them. What is causing them not to show up, why can't they be selected and how do I fix them?

Sorry bout that, I did not know how to attach it from the cloud. It bugs me that it defaults to saving it out there in deadman's land. But that is an issue to tackle another day. The last two sketches do exist, and they are the ones I am trying to loft together. I for some reason cannot select them. When I entre the sketch the middle region is yellow indicating that they are closed loops and the constraints have been added and removed repeatedly with no change pointing to that not being the issue...

i have been experincing this also.

make a sketch, then when i go to extrude it, loft or anything, its gone.

turning the light on in front of it doesnt help, but hovering over the name of the sketch and it will appear.

cant do anything else with it, as soon as you move the mouse its gone again

Can't help with the disappearing act, but the loft is in the attached file.

Hi,

The loft works just fine, and the sketches are there

If you are talking about the sketches disappearing after using loft on the sketches, that's what happens after you use the first command ( create something from a sketch ) on a sketch

just go to the browser and turn on the visibility, after you turn it on, no matter how many commands you use it won't disappear again

 The lightbulb in front of the sketch/body/component toggles visibility on or off.  There is also a new option in Preferences|Design to disable automatically turning visibility of a sketch off.

If you had the Browser window expanded in your original screenshot, this could have been diagnosed from that.

I did not know about the browser menu that was turning them off before I could select them to loft. I am used to sketches being turned off once a 3D command (cut, extrude, sweep, loft etc) has been acted on them. The browser menu was turning the sketches off before I could select them to activate the loft or perform any other 3D command on them.

I am using this program for the first time this summer under my internship. I am used to working in Solidworks. The browser window is new and at first seemingly pointless to me. It holds more secrets than I initially gave it credit for.
