Point coincident to spline & line: parametric update fail

Hello,

I am working on a sketch in Fusion 360 that is driven by parameters that affect a fit-point type spline.   I then need a point that is coincident with the spline and another base circle (also parameter-driven).   Defining the point this way causes the sketch compute to fail upon parameter changes.   Does anybody have an idea about this?  A control point type spline allows the parameter update, but this type of spline deviates too far from the definition points.

Thanks!

Brandon

(Screencast is with Fit Point Spline)

That does appear to be the way it works when changing parameters. Manually changing the spline keeps the point coincident.

Screencast will be displayed here after you click Post.

@jeff.strater: Bug or not?

p.s. You'll probably need to attach your file to the thread to diagnose the problem.  I couldn't reproduce the behaviour with a Control Point Spline.

Editing post kills screencast.  Here it is again:

Thanks, etfrench,

Your screencast seems to illustrate the issue in a similar way.

I've attached the model file as suggested.

Thanks,

Brandon
