please let us use user parameters in generative design forces

So I was working on a generative wrench.

I designed my preserve bodies to be fully constrained and parametric with every dimension referencing a single parameter which is the diameter of the circumscribed polygon of the nut to be wrenched.

now a new set of preserve bodies can be easily generated for every size nut by simply changing that parameter

yay that's awesome

however the issue comes into play when setting up loads in the generative design workspace. i'm not able to reference my parameter when defining the force of the loads.  If i could use my parameter in that field i could publish an F3D file that allows a user to make a generative wrench for any nut size with a single click, by scaling the forces of the loads off the size of the nut.

wouldn't that be amazing?

and of course that's just one simple example of what could be made possible by allowing parameters in the load magnitude field.

thanks for attending my TED talk.

Hi daniel_schaeffer

As of now we do not have parameter support in Simulation or the Generative Design workspace so that Force magnitudes for example can be varied. We agree that this will be very useful. Thanks

Best regards
