Please help - cannot work out how to Split Face...

Hi Folks,

This is driving me nuts..

You can see in the Export here, I have two bodies that intersect and I want to cut body B with the surface of Body A so that I am left with Body B with the front edge matching to the surface of Body A.

I just cannot get it to work..

Please help.

Thanks

Yeah and the model is not labelled.

Guess I'll cut the bottom one with the top one?

Continuing to model with surfacing tools with this T-Spline based surface may work, but it can also very easily result in modeling problems. That is particularly the case when you use T-Spline based NURBS to trim T-Spline based NURBS. The resulting curvature can easily shut continuing modeling efforts down.

Go to Surface  > Trim,

Select the Cutting Tool, Body 1.

Then Click on the section / side to remove, select Ok.

For the other way round, cut top with the bottom, needs more work.

I resolved this myself.

I just needed to choose Split Face 'first, then I selected the Splitting face followed by the splitting tool and then 'Extend Splitting' and that worked.
