Please get rid of new leader line layout in Fusion drawings

Hi,

An update a few weeks ago has started fusion doing these weird little leader lines in the drawings environment. These lines are ugly, they clutter the drawing up and they make laying out the dimensions far more fiddly.

Please give us an option to turn these off and just do normal leader lines as before. All drawings that have been created in the last few weeks are now covered in these lines and its led to an inconsistency and confusion with inspection and in the machine shop. They are not necessary and they do nothing but make drawings untidy, confusing and slow to create.

Please give us a tick box we can untick to turn these off!

Thanks.

I believe this happens when you select a previous dimension line as a base for a new dimension. Fusion expects you to be chaining dims when you do this thus the leaders. If you select part geometry for your dims this wont happen.

Sadly that does not seem to be the case. It does this for new dimensions on
part geometry. It does it automatically where the gap between the leader
lines is too small to fit the text in between. Usually, it would just
extend the line out and put the dimension on that, but now its doing these
weird elbow things sticking out the side.

Ok, looks like your using an ASME template, I tend to use the ISO one and get the dims how you'd like them.

Yes please give an option to turn this off!

Also please add better control for dimtext placement on the outside of the extension lines.
