Perpendicular constraint shows as a T instead of a box

I just curious as to why my perpendicular constraints show up as "T" indicator instead of a little square box?

Is it a setting?

Almost all of the CAD apps I have used display perpendicular constraints as a T. For instance Solidworks uses the same symbol...

@Anonymous,

I have seen both the right angle marker and the tee to which you are referring in Fusion.  I am not sure how Fusion decides.

It shows a box while drawing and a T after the sketch entity is completed.

I think it was changed recently so the icon matches the icon on the sketch pallette. I always struggled to find it on the sketch pallette because it was shown as a T.

Here's a screengrab from a few months back.

It was probably changed so there was more consistency across the UI, only the dev team can answer why.

Personally it doesn't bother me either way. I'm used to the T from Solidworks but a box would be just as good.

The only thing about the box is in a complicated sketch the box tends to look a lot like the Coincident constraint when the sketch is viewed as a whole and the T stands out more...

Yes I agree. I was just wondering if it was setting I was missing. It is minor but I find the box symbol more pleasing and universally understood.

Thanks everyone!
