Parts List Size

Hi, I'm creating a drawing of an assembly on ANSI A template. But when I insert the parts lits, it is way too big. I cannot seem to find a way to change the size or edit the list ( I don't need "description" or "material" in the list). Anyone know if you can edit the list or change the size? Capture.JPG

Hi LorSwen,

Currently the only editing available for Parts Lists is grip-editing the width of the columns (select the table then use the square grips to widen/shorten the column width) and wrapping (select the table then use the triangle grip to stretch the table shorter).  Stretching the Description column down to minimal width may allow your item 1 and 13 part names to wrap a bit. I'm guessing you have the default 0.12 text height already set, but making this smaller will save a little more space:

An Ansi A sheet there's not a whole lot of real estate to begin with though so this won't really solve your immediate request.  I have forwarded the request to remove columns or possibly scale the table to the team, but currently this is not possible.

On an unrelated note, I see some of your balloons are disassociated (yellow badge).  Are you able to re-associate these (right-click the badge > Reassociate)?  Did this happen after a view update?  If you're willing to share or send your design to me I would like to take a look, christopher.miller@autodesk.com.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm also struggling with this issue. I'm trying to generate some simple exploded views to identify components in our assembly. Complete lack of control over the table parameters means that I have a huge table that is mostly blank or irrelevant for my intended purpose. Looks like I'll be doing the work in Illustrator..
