Part looks bent

Hi, Very new to this, I have drawn a part is 360, I had made a mistake with a dimension, so I decided to draw another part, the thing is, the part in 2d looks as if it bent, also when I try to make a recess, the line is showing on the underside of teh part, not sure what I have done, it wasn't like thatwhen I made th efirst part, have a pressed something?

If you've not constrained your features properly, it will likely be bent. Could you share your part?

Have just drawn this, I seem to have a flat part now, unfortunatly I need the two 16mm recess areas on the top, not the bottom with teh 45.90mm recess, no idea what i have done or not done Cheers Dave

Hello Dave,

When you go to create the recesses by extruding with "Cut" as the operation, change the Start option from the default of "Profile Plane" to "From Object" then select the opposite side of the part as your starting point.
