My object/body disappears when selecting Simulation, and reappears when selecting Model, Sculpt, etc. Has anyone had this issue or knows if may be missing something?

Can you File>Export and then attach the *.f3d file here that exhibits this behavior?

My gearbox component disappeared from simulation..it happened after I suppressed a feature in modeling mode after failed attempt to suppress the feature in simulation mode...the constraints for the gearbox are still there except for one which has lost the reference to a face on the gearbox, which I cannot reselect because it's become invisible. This is my first simulation attempt.. would appreciate any suggestions to dislodge this problem.

Hi @phillips1.michael -

The issue here is that your model geometry is not a solid body, a requirement for the Simulation workspace. Since surface bodies are not currently supported, they are not shown. If you expand your browser and look in the bodies folder (while in the Model workspace), you will see that there is one unstitched body which looks to be away from the actual main model, and then a browser entry that contains 27 surface bodies. Please review your geometry and ensure that you can stitch it into a solid body before going to the Simulation workspace.

Thanks,

I'm having a similar problem currently although my model doesn't include any surfaces. Please see attached and let me know how this is happening/fixable/avoidable.
