I know the request for parameters have already been raised, but I would like to expand on the topic to include the possibility of using these parameters anywhere instead of any given number. And I would like to be able to use these parameters in expressions for anywhere a number can be entered. This is very handy if you need to make a transformation to/from cylindrical or spherical coordinates. Much the same way as it works in CATIA for example where any numerical input box can be right-clicked and you can select to enter a formula.

Take a look at the Change Parameters dialog box
Also any time you enter a number you can enter a formula and you can mix units. Is this what you were looking for?

Yes! I can hardly believe how I could have missed it! Thanks.

How do you accomplish a2 + b2 = c2:
sqrt(a^2 + b^2) = c
I cannot figure out the unit conversions...

Does this help. Note you can't use c as a name.

I couldn't get that to work for me! I opted to go with a unitless value instead.
It is working now just have an extra parameter...

Another option is to set all the parameters to no units.

Fusion 360 would be a lot easier to learn if there was a written reference guide to follow.
(Edit: Nevermind, I found the link later in the thread, but there doesn't seem to be any way to delete my post)
