PARAMETER FOR MATHEMATICALLY CORRECT OGEE

Hi Everyone,

I know there is a mathematical function for a perfect ogee. Is there a parameter that I can program in Fusion 360 to speed this up?

Lets say I want a 12" long ogee with a 1.5" inclination.

Please let me know,

Mike

Perfect?

Might be challenging!

Buy lets say I have a line, is there a parameter I can program to automatically do this when I plug in my numbers? Surely there must be a way to do this.

Hi,

You should find all the functions you need here.

I have looked at these functions, but I cannot remember back to my trig days on how to use them for the outcome I am requesting. Do you have a specific example on how you would program a parameter to make what I would like?

The description reads to me like 2 equal and tangent arcs constrained inside a rectangle.

Would you mind showing me how to do that? I guess I could then parametrically change the values!
