Optimize/reduce points on intersect sketch

Hi, I am trying to offset and extrude-cut an intersect sketch but Fusion crash every time I try to offset it.

I think the reason could be the multiple (needless) points on the sketch.

Tried to break the link but it crash again.

Is there a way to optimize/reduce the points?

The only option that remain is redraw.

Thanks

Hi,

try this:

1. edit sketch

2. break link

3. reduce points

4. reorganise points

Please share the design file (export as .f3d and attach to next post).

Going to go out on a limb here and make a guess as to your workflow.  I suspect that you imported a mesh design, then used the default mesh to BRep conversion to convert it to a BRep where each mesh triangle is a separate BRep face, then intersected that BRep with the sketch to get this projected geometry.  This is not a recommended workflow.  If my suspicions are correct, use the Create Mesh Section command, and then Fit Curves to Mesh Section command to get a better (and smoother) approximation to this geometry.
