Open older versions while current version is open doesn't work

If I have the latest/current version of a document open, I can't open any of the older versions at the same time, I just get an error message that it is already open. This makes it difficult to compare with older versions, and I'm quite sure it used to work before the new update?

If I close the current/newest version, I can open older versions in read-only mode (as expected).

sorry for the issue you see with opening older version. Try workaround that works for me: Open older version first, then open the latest version.

Ok, so this is indeed a bug? The suggested workaround works, but it is a bit cumbersome, as I usually want to look at an older version while I'm working on the current version, and the current version isn't saved. To apply the workaround, I have to save and close (giving me a version I don't really want, since I'm in the middle of doing something that isn't finished) the current version first, then reopen both in the reverse order.

Any plans to fix this?

I see your point you want to open older version while the latest is open. We have already fixed it and fix will be integrated in future update.

Hey, just wanted to comment that I'm still seeing this issue - I'm not able to open an older version of a design while the current version is open ("... is already open for editing.")
