One Sketch wont constrain and cant loft Help

Howdy all, Last time i needed help on here you guys were awesome, and its a similar thing i need help with.

Im trying to make a shell to put a led bar in for a scale street lamp and im trying to loft the top of it so its a nice shape.

The sketch for the x axis of the loft is fully constrained and has no problem, but my sketch on the z axis wont constrain for some reason, so when i go to loft i get a " The operation failed. Try adjusting the values or changing the input geometry", all the lines are intersecting from what i can tell but im getting this problem

I have attached the f3d file for this project. im not sure what im doing wrong but its something and i cant work it out or found a solution when searching.

Thank you very much and hope you all have a good day!

rails have to be curvature continuous.  the profile of the body you are using as the rail comes to a point at each end.  in the attached I added a center line to sketch 20 and changed the profiles I picked for the loft to get it to work.

Ahh so i need a continuous curve to make it work? you've used the upright curve as the rail instead of the perimeter like i was trying to? Thank you very much for the help, Are their many videos on these kind of things or are you well versed in fusion?

Ive had to alter the design so i went back quite a lot of steps and followed what you have done but nothing wants to work for some reason

No access to your file for a few hours yet, but first thing I saw in the video, is what looks like an attempt to Loft with hollow or incomplete profile 1.

Try building one profile that closes the square opening.

Might help....

no problem, yeah i got the back bit lofted but cant get the front half lofted, now its saying one or more rails intersect a profile more then once, try adjusting the sections to avoid this, or now its saying cannot be tangent to profiles

Yeah, I thought so,

@Lunar.Wolf.Works  build full profile to the centre line, because Loft can not do a hollow type of profile.  Especially as the profile 1 and 3 are at 180 degrees apart.

No Sir,

much better to ask, than to fumble around - and never know why.
