Offset geometry (from intersection geometry) breaks after changing part dimensions

I created a demo file so you can test it yourselves.

The part is just a 100x100mm cube that I extruded with a taper angle. Then I used the shell command and filleted the inside corners.

Finally, I created a midplane, created a sketch in it, where I used the intersect command to get the inner perimeter and lastly, I offset this intersection.

Here's the result:

Properly constrained offset geometryProperly constrained offset geometry

If you go back to the main sketch and set a different part height, for instance, then the offset geometry shows as unconstrained and it didnt readjust to the new projected geometry:

Unconstrained offset after part size changeUnconstrained offset after part size change

For some reason, both the taper angle and the fillets are required for this odd behavior to take place.

Here's the demo file:

Thank you in advance.

Well, I fixed my problem by using the "Specified entities" in the selection filter option for the Intersect command.

Chain selecting the intersection geometry doesn't work, though, when trying to offset it.
