NPT pipe threads?

I would like to program a 1/2" NPT female pipe thread but can't seem to find it in the thread box to model first.  Is it still missing or am I missing something?  Oh well, I guess it is back to NoteCam for this one.

Is there a reason that there aren't NTP pipe threads?

I'm new to Fusion 360, and yes, can see how it might be possible to start with a McMaster Carr plug and go from there - but seems like it would REALLY be nice if the feature were provided directly.

Well, it would be nice no question about it, but they haven't done it yet.  I have heard they are working on it, but that's been awhile ago.

There are a couple of youtube vids on it.

Tom,Thanks for your response.I did see the suggestion of starting with a McMaster-Carr part, and going from there.Probably not a bad option.   Again, I'm still new at this.  I was able to import a reasonable part.  Now I'll need to go back and find/watch videos to learn how to decompose the part into my design so that I can alter it.
Definitely a learning process.  And I'm thankful there are sooo many videos out there with hints on how to do things.
