Hey there!

First off, im really excited about learning this program and are really looking forward seeing its potential unfold for my personal pipeline 🙂

I do have some questions already:

1. How can I place my object to the origin 0.0.0. ?

2. How can I center the pivot of an object ?

3. Can I assign hotkeys or customize the rightclick radial menu ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, glad to see you here, happy to help.

1. How can I place my object to the origin 0.0.0. ?

There are a few ways, depending on where you are starting.

1. In creating parts, draw around the origin.

2. For existing bodies/components: Use the move command. You can select bodies or components.

In this example I move a box to the origin.

Move command.

Select components filter, it's the box on the left. The default is bodies which is the cylinder you see selected below.

Pick a pivot point.

If you need, set the pivot again.

Or just use point to point.

The other corner and the origin are selected.

Done. Because the component moved, we should accept the Snapshot.

2. How can I center the pivot of an object ?

The default is to rotate around the origin. If you wish to set a new pivot, use Shift + middle mouse click over a selectable object, such as a corner or face of an object. To set it back  make the origin visible and select the origin. There is a red dot indicating the pivot. It snaps to faces  edges and points.

3. Can I assign hotkeys or customize the rightclick radial menu ?

Hotkeys are an often requested improvement so this is something we are working on currently. We update often, but I don't think it's ready just yet. I'm not sure about a custom right click menu at this time, but I can check.

Thanks,
