Not Able to Join in the correct position

I have two Chassis rails. I am trying to put in a bush in for the Axle. when I create the bush and use joints to locate it in the correct position, all ok now when I make one there is also another one appear, that's good,  I try to turn the bush around, but doing so the other bush also moves even though they are separate components  , its like a yoyo affect, is there something I'm doing wrong.. help in this would be great,

Hi,

Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post.

I see two possible things you are doing wrong here:

  1. You are probably using Move to "try to turn the bush around".  Don't use Move.  Create another Joint on the second instant of that component.
  2. When you are using Move, you have the type set to Bodies, not Components

When you Move a Body, you are moving that Body inside the Component, so all instances reflect that change.  If you Move the Component, only that instance will be affected

Hi there. I tried what you mentioned and yes it did work fine. Just something else I have learnt. Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated.
