Non uniform shape (surface bowel)

Newbie and found a shape I would like to expand upon. The attached image is from a template given to me. What is the best way to create this shape? Mesh body, t-spline, solid?    I would like to learn how he did it and to make my own shapes as well. Thank you in advance - Julie

Could be done with surface lofts or with t-splines.  I personally would probably use lofting.   nether approach will be easy if your starting from zero.

In the Surface environment, you can start with an extrusion of the profile, and then create the Patch with edge conditions: Tangent or Curvature. After that, the starting extrusion can be removed.

Don’t ever use a (boundary) patch if the geometry can be created with a loft!

I designed this using T-Splines, but in retrospect it is probably much easier to do this with surface tools.
