Non standard thread

I am drawing a part that needs a 13.5mm X .3 thread, is there a way to create this non standard thread?

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks Ben!  That sort of worked. It made a thread profile on the part but no where close to being accurate. I can't seem to get a pitch measurement and when I tried to create a relief groove at the end of the thread it left two rows of about 1/6 of the circumference of thread. It's not a drawing I could send out for quotes.

I can see, that you haven't created your own profile.
Could please send me the thread profile with the Pitch and all the dimensions?

I'm not sure what you need but here is what I know about the thread. It's major diameter is 13.5mm and the pitch is .3. The height of the sharp 60 degree V thread is .25981mm

Thanks Ben! The root of the thread is flat, is there a way to measure the pitch to make sure it is correct? Is there a problem with the minor diameter?

I have used the Measure tool and the distance between threads is 3mm. I could also see that you changed the Pitch in the dialogue box to 0.3 🙂

Btw, you can use the Fillet to make the ends of the thread look nicer and not just flat.

Hi,

Could someone be a lifesaver and make a simple ring with the following specifications.

Height: 5mm

EXTERNAL MALE THREAD: M28.5x0.6 mm 60deg

INTERNAL FEMALE THREAD to fit: M25.5 x 0.75 mm 60deg

I'm desperate,

Thanks,

Rob
