No longer able to edit a shape I was working on

I was trying to make a "form" around a foot but now when I go back in it is greyed out and I cannot do a modify edit form any more.  How do I get back to editing the shape I am creating?

What you missing is that, when you hit Create Form it's a new feature, what you need to do is to find in timeline old Create Form and edit that. To edit hit RMB on that feature in timeline pop-up menu will appear and there will be option to edit that.

Last two Create Form features are empty you can delete them.

Thanks, I was not going back far enough.

Look what's happening when I've picked surface, in timeline you can see which feature was used to create that geometry.
