No holes on the UNDERSIDE?

"I just made you say under where?" - Barenaked Ladies

Ok, been struggling with this for an hour....

I have a body, and have made a ketch on the underside/bottom of the body. Then I put a set of points on the sketch (using rectangular pattern).

Now I'd like to put holes on those points, that will but into the underside of the body. So when the hole dialog comes up, select the pattern choice, and then select the points on the sketch. But for the hole depth, I can only select a positive number. Negative goes red. But positive wants to go AWAY fron the surface of the body, and I get an error "No body found to intersect" or something like that.

Is this a bug? Do I somehow have to flip z around before doing this?

I'd make a screen cast, for that has disappeared from F360 and I can't get the standalone to start now.

For that matter, F360 has been pretty flaky on me the last two days. Getting a lot of "can't access project folder", etc.

Hi fritter63,

Could you try toggling "Flip Direction" and see if the holes can cut through the body?

That did it.

Didn't even notice that.
