NEWB : Radial Pattern Copy

Greetings all. Experienced 3D visualiser, but absolute F360 NEWB:

Aim:
I want to make a radial array of 6 columns (cylinders) with a Y up orientation. I then want to be able to rotate the original cylinder on the Z axis and have all other cylinders in the pattern to rotate to match ( as 'instances'). The original cylinder was set up as a component and moved to X = -100.

What would be the the correct approach for this please?

Ah... the joy of scratching one's head and fumbling around... then finally posting to a forum... and then immediately stumbling across a soluion : )

OK it seems that if I radial pattern the components, but rotate the original body... I'm getting what I want.
But I'd still very much appreciate advice on the best / correct method to approach this.

What I was able to come up with was drawing the first body and then using circular array and adjusting the desired settings.

Thanks for the response, appreciated.

This is what I ended up doing...

Is there a better way?

Here's another way using a sketch then revolve and finally a pattern. See attached file. Edit, updated file as I forgot to set the angle of the cylinders in the sketch.
