I'm new to Fusion 360.  I've been using drawing programs such as Visio for many years.  I'm finding 360 acts differently when in sketch mode and trying to select, copy/duplicate, move, rotate or modify an object.

I've looked at the into videos but they really don't make it clear or tell how to do these things and or what keys on the keyboard to hold down while mouse dragging or clicking.

Might there be a short tutorial teaching how to move, copy, duplicate, rotate, selects and navigate around while in sketch?

Thanks

You should definitely review the materials in the "Learn" section. There is also a Autodesk Fusion 360 YouTube channel with many helpful tutorials.

This will provide you with a better idea how to design with Fusion 360 and general work flows.

I've used CAD software for 25 years but when sketching in Fusion 360 I vary rarely use te move, copy commands. I keep sketches to the bare minimum and move to 3D geometry as quickly as possible.

Thanks for your reply. I've gone over the material in the Lean section and have found it confusing. Probably because I've been using Visio for 20 years.

What's missing and what's needed is an overview video that covers the concepts. In all of the videos I've seen they jump immediately to the details of how to.... I get the how to. What I'm not understating which parts of Fusion 360 to use and when.

I'm also not finding a dictionary for the terms used in the video. I understand different programs use the same term to mean different things, but what's missing is how the term is used in Fusion 360.

Thanks for the reply.
