new sketch folder do not show up for new sketch

In existing drawing, I have folder sketch1.

next I want to create a new sketch (.e.g draw a line)

When I click create cketch, a new sktch folder did not show up in the browser.

I would expect a folder called sketch2, but is it missing....

Is this expected?

How do  I enable a new sketch folder to be created for the component?

If you are going to assemble that body.  Try to convert the body in the form of component and go for new sketch.  Try for it.  Possibly it might works.

Hi ilikef360,

I tried the workflow following what you described, but I can see sketch 2 created. So could you help post a video here to help describe your problem?

Thanks,
Frank

I was having this problem for a while yesterday, but I am not able to duplicate it on

a new design example.

By the way, this may be a serious problem.

I was not doing anything on F360, but I notice

two autodesk components are running at 33% and 26% of CPU time for hours.

So I ended those tasks in task manager and I was able to still use F360 for a while.

One of them is has a word "browser" in it.

I tired to click on the top left icon to display samples

I get a an icon with double arrow and not able to click anythng.

May be related to above problem.

and now I am not able to close the F360.

May be it is related to the components being terminated.

Anyway, I have to shutdown Win 10 now.... 😞

Addendum:

AdCefWebBrowser is the name of the 2 components taking huge amount of CPU time.

There are many (six) of these components with same name and I do not even have a drawing

file in F360 yet.

Hi ilikef360,

AdCefWebBrowser usually is related to Fusion data panel. In this case, it seems your data panel is not working properly. Could you help try to clear user cache data and restart Fusion again to see if this help fix your problem?
